A six-speed manual transmission is standard in all these models and a six-speed Steptronic automatic transmission is optional. The BMW's intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system providing optimum performance is available on the 528i xDrive sedan, 535i xDrive sedan and 535i xDrive sports wagon.
