It is the name in automobile sector which has become an ultimate answer for all sorts of vehicle viz. sports cars, sedans, motorcycles and so on.
BMW stands for "Bayerische Motoren Werke (Bavarian Motor Works Company)". It was set up on 1913. Currently, there are more than 11 new models of the BMW. Car crazy desperately waits and searches for any new leads from the company. In this context recently, a speculation released. It is about BMW's next 5 Series which would probably appear in early next decade. The speculation speaks: • Code name of 2011 5 series BMW car is F10. • Probably, the new turbo range based engine would be used in this car. • Even the M5 will be also switched from the ultra-high-revving V-10 to a turbo V-8. • 5's wheelbase will be increased by couple of inches but there would not be any changes in overall mass. • MacPherson struts will be replaced by Control arm front suspension.
All these speculations and many others as well are on top of the gossip chart everywhere. Even a representative of leading car dealer 'Autotropolis' were discussing the same issue amongst their colleagues. As per their opinion, "BMW now talks of a backbone rather than a platform". Actually, the term backbone is used for the advancement in firewall, suspension, and floor in various wheelbases.
The authenticity of all these hypothetical elements will take time to be proved. But, it is damn clear that BMW would keep on inducing car crazy people through its expansion in product line range, high end quality and unrivalled luxury.
